Sun Ra - Fate in a Pleasant Mood / The Futuristic Sounds of Sun Ra (1960-1)

Perhaps this post harms those on dialup, but it does help those without a Rapidshare premium account...This post combines two albums spanning late '60 to '61--Fate in a Pleasant Mood with the Myth Science Arkestra and The Futuristic Sounds of Sun Ra with his Arkestra.
Both these CDs are very good. Some of my favorite material comes from these years, and referencing the songs that stand out would really entail listing most the tracks...
Enjoy these CDs.

i was just checking riaa-radar- http://www.magnetbox.com/riaa/ -to see the status of the sun ra catalogue, and fortunately, only two main albums come under the riaa jurisdiction - one of them being "the futuristic sounds of sun ra," the other being "space is the place"
so it might be wise to remove "futuristic sounds" because the riaa has been on a rampage of late, blaming piracy for theri organisations abysmal status at present.
and cheers! i love your blog.

hey anonymous--
nice to see someone around from the STH days. who were you back then?

i've uploaded most of the sun ra albums on torrents--about a dozen CDs are still alive, i think. i decided to start posting on a blog to encourage a different audience.

thanks for the comments everyone.
